Kri-ko: Providing a Safe Space for Children's Growth
On Wednesdays, I am available in the child-friendly environment of the Kri-ko practice in Alsemberg (https://kri-ko.be/). Here, I offer tailored psychological support for children. Together, we will work on understanding and coping with emotions, behavioral issues, and other challenges your child may encounter during their development.
De Genstberg Practice: Supporting Adults and Seniors in Achieving Their Goals
For adults, I am available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at the De Genstberg general practitioner's practice in Alsemberg (https://degenstberg.be/). My goal is to help you gain self-insight, manage stress, deal with anxiety or depression, sleep problems, and more, while developing resilient coping strategies.
Vision - Mission - Approach
As a clinical psychologist, my mission is to promote the well-being of our clients and their surroundings through short-term therapeutic treatments lasting around four to ten sessions. I utilize solution-focused, systemic, and behavior therapy methods to help clients discover their inner strength and effectively address life's challenges in the here and now. By cultivating resilience and self-sufficiency, we work together with the client (and, if applicable, their social network) towards a better future. I offer sessions in three languages (NL/FR/EN) both online and in the practice, individually, as a couple, or with the family.
What Not to Expect
For diagnostics, you can first consult with colleagues before initiating an individual path. For now, I am not specialized in eating and substance-related issues, etc. Referrals to specialized institutions can be arranged if I cannot provide adequate guidance for the specific problem. In such cases, I work with the client to find a suitable solution, whether with a certified healthcare provider or organization.
Who Am I?
Accredited clinical psychologist (license number: 404384) After completing my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2023, I immediately started as an independent practitioner. Prior to this, I worked both nationally and internationally and obtained a Master's degree in Language and Literature (VUB) while completing my teacher training (CVO) while teaching. I draw on these (international) experiences daily to contribute to the well-being of each of my clients. Compsy profile: compsy.be/nl/profile/public-profile/39246
